Gee, we're surprised people choose reliable transportation that gets you where you need to go in a timely manner vs. the inconvenient alternatives.

No US airline flies 747s across the country anymore. Are the rest of your "facts" equally wrong?

59 Gallons per year in Europe? I live here and there is NO WAY 59 gallons of petrol would see me through a year! 99 percent of Europe laughs at your computation! There, how do you like that statistic? Owning and driving a car here is outrageously expensive. Get a grip and re-do your math.

Anyone can make up bogus statistics: Forty-five percent of all people know that.

To be fair, the U.S.-Europe section mentions nothing about price. It shows the total average auto fuel use per capita across those entire regions. No doubt it is expensive to own a car in Europe for those who do drive. But in terms of overall fuel consumption per person, those numbers don't seem unreasonable.

Remeber to divide the 747 mpg by the number of passengers. Come on!
