3 Things You Didn't Know About Warren Buffett
Put your knowledge of one of the world's greatest investors to the test.
The list of celebrity investors is short, and Warren Buffett is at the top of it. But how much do you really know about him? Answer three questions from our Buffett quiz to find out.
Question #1
Buffett loves to collect dividends. But how often does his holding company, Berkshire Hathaway, pay them out? Quarterly? Annually? Never?
The answer is never. Well, almost: Berkshire paid out once, in 1967. If you want income from your Berkshire stock, Buffett recommends selling some shares.

Question #2
How many people work at Buffett’s headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska? 25? 250? 2,500?
25, and one of them is Warren himself. Though Berkshire-owned companies employ hundreds of thousands, Buffett keeps the home team small. It’s a sign of his hands-off approach to investing: Buy companies with good management, and let them do their jobs.
Question #3
Is Warren Buffett a Democrat, Republican or Independent?
Democrat. Over the years he has supported many Democrats, including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and just a handful of Republicans.
