The fund holds about 250 small and midsize countries in developed nations (80% of assets) and emerging countries.
Manager Justin Thomson, based in London, gets help from analysts located in Japan, Hong Kong and Europe to look for fast-growing firms with market values of $500 million to $5 billion at the time of purchase. And the fund tends to hold stocks for long periods.
