Get a Free Smoothie on National Flip Flop Day, June 19
This month you can score lots of delicious food deals for free or little cost.
June is filled with several “holidays” -- including National Donut Day, National Flip Flop Day (you read that right!) and Father’s Day -- that inspire some of your favorite establishments to hand out free food and drinks. This month’s round-up offers something tasty for everyone in your household: coffee, donuts, smoothies, full meals and more.
Here are six food and drink deals to take advantage of:
Free coffee. On Monday, June 1, Xtramart convenience stores in the Mid-Atlantic and New England will give away a free cup of coffee of any size to customers at participating locations.

Free donuts. National Donut Day is Friday, June 5, and Krispy Kreme shops will be handing out one free donut of any variety at participating U.S. and Canadian locations while supplies last.
Dunkin Donuts celebrates National Donut Day by giving customers a free donut of their choice (excluding croissants and cheesecake squares) with the purchase of any beverage at participating locations.
Stop by Shipley Do-Nuts, which has locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas, on National Donut Day and score one one free glazed donut from 5 a.m. to noon.
LaMar's Donuts will be handing out one free donut of any flavor to customers on National Donut Day. The donut shop chain has locations in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.
Free fountain or frozen drink. To kick-off summer, participating Cumberland Farms convenience stores, will be giving away free fountain or frozen Chill Zone drinks of any flavor to customers all day long on Friday, June 19.
Free smoothie. In celebration of National Flip Flop Day on Friday, June 19, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, a restaurant chain with 400 locations throughout the U.S., is offering in-store customers who wear flip flops a free 24 oz. Jetty Punch smoothie from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Free meal for dads with purchase. Participating PDQ restaurants are celebrating Father’s Day on Sunday, June 21 by offering dads a free combo meal (3-piece tenders, sandwich or salad) with the purchase of a kids combo meal for $4.19.
Free french fries. At participating Chick-fil-a locations, get a free medium order of waffle potato fries and a large soft drink of your choice during the month of June. In order to score this deal, you must register online for a Chick-fil-a 2015 calendar card. With the card, you can access an online schedule of other Chick-fil-a freebies throughout the year.
Free kids meal. Ikea will be serving free kids meals to children 12 and under at participating locations during normal store hours every Tuesday throughout the month of June. Parents can choose from one of four meal options that range from 370 to 650 calories per meal. A beverage is also included.
