There's plenty to celebrate this month -- from the World Series to Veterans Day to Thanksgiving -- and a host of food establishments are offering up freebies and discounts on yummy treats and drinks to commemorate these upcoming occasions.

Here are six food and drink freebies and deals that you can take advantage of:
Free coffee. Throughout the month of November, Ikea customers who visit the Ikea restaurant can get a free cup of UTZ certified coffee during normal store hours.

On Thanksgiving day (Thursday, November 26), you can grab a free cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate or cappuccino -- any size, hot or iced -- at participating Cumberland Farms convenience store locations starting at midnight through 11:59 p.m.
Free milkshake. From Monday, November 2, through Monday, November 30, Chick-fil-a customers can get a free small handspun milkshake at participating locations. To get this freebie, you must register online for a Chick-fil-a 2015 calendar card. With the card, you can access an online schedule of other exclusive offers throughout the year.
Free sub sandwich with purchase. In honor of National Sandwich Day on Tuesday, November 3, customers who visit a participating Subway restaurant location and purchase any size sub and a 30-ounce drink will get a free sub of equal or lesser price.
Free breakfast sandwich. Calling all baseball fans! Taco Bell will give away a free A.M. Crunchwrap on Thursday, November 5 (from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.) if a base is stolen in Games 1 or 2 of the World Series. You have a second chance at scoring free breakfast on Thursday, November 10, if a base is stolen in any one of Games 3 through 7.
Free meals for the military. McCormick & Schmick's will serve complimentary lunch or dinner entrees to all active-duty military, National Guard and veterans who dine at one of their participating locations on Sunday, November 8. A military ID is required.
On Veterans Day (Wednesday, November 11), Golden Corral restaurants will dish out free dinners to members of the U.S. military (retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard, and Reserves). In order to get this free meal, you'll have to present proof of service.
IHOP is honoring men and women who've served or are currently serving in the U.S. military by giving them a free stack of buttermilk pancakes with red, white and blue fruit toppings on Wednesday, November 11 (Veterans Day) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Free iced tea. Print this coupon and present it at a participating Carl's Jr. restaurant location through Monday, November 30, to get a free small peach papaya sweetened iced tea.
Free pie slice. Dine-in at a participating O'Charley's restaurant location on Wednesdays this month to get a free slice of pie of your choice with an entree purchase.
