Here are seven food and drink freebies and deals you can take advantage of:
Free chocolate croissant. Visit a participating Au Bon Pain restaurant location on Wednesday, September 9, from 2 to 5 p.m., and get a free mini chocolate croissant.

Free queso. Customers who visit a participating Moe’s Southwest Grill on Thursday, September 17 will score a free cup of queso as they celebrate Quesopalooza.
Free cheeseburger. In honor of National Cheeseburger Day on Friday, September 18, Burger 21 is giving away a free cheesy burger to customers who download their mobile app by that date. The app is available at the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Free donuts. Krispy Kreme is celebrating Talk Like a Pirate Day on Saturday, September 19, by giving away one original glazed donut to any customer who orders like a pirate. If you’re really in the spirit, the donut shop is offering one dozen original glazed donuts free of charge to any customer who shows up dressed like a pirate.
Free fish tender meal. While you're in the pirate spirit, head over to a participating Long John Silver's restaurant on Saturday, September 19, and get a free fish tender or piece of chicken for talking like a pirate. If you're dressed like a pirate, you'll get a free fish tender or 2-piece chicken basket, which includes fries and a drink.
Free coffee. Through Sunday, September 20, Ikea customers who visit the Ikea restaurant can get a free cup of UTZ certified coffee during normal store hours.
Get a free 12-ounce cup of coffee and an original glazed donut at participating Krispy Kreme locations in the U.S., on National Coffee Day, which is Tuesday, September 29.
LaMar's Donuts and Coffee is celebrating National Coffee Day on Tuesday, September 29, by offering customers a free 12-ounce cup of coffee and a LaMar's coffee mug while supplies last.
Participating Cumberland Farms store locations will be giving customers who text the promo code FREECOFFEE to 33733 on their smart phones a coupon for a free hot or iced coffee of any size to be redeemed on Tuesday, September 29, which is National Coffee Day.
Free chicken nuggets. Stop by a participating Chick-fil-a restaurant during the month of September and get a free 8-count box of grilled chicken nuggets plus a large soft drink. To get this freebie, you must register online for a Chick-fil-a 2015 calendar card. With the card, you can access an online schedule of other exclusive offers throughout the year.
Free kids’ meal. At Ruby Tuesday, parents can score a free meal for their child with the purchase of an adult entree every Tuesday after 5 p.m. all month long.
Free sandwich. Download McDonald’s mobile app and receive a coupon on your mobile device for a free breakfast or regular menu sandwich. This offer is limited to the first 8,000,000 downloads.
Buy one, get one free on ice cream sundaes. At participating Carvel ice cream shops, any customer who purchases a classic soft serve ice cream sundae will get another for free every Wednesday this month.
