Brian G. Madgett, CLU®, ChFC®, is Head of Consumer Education at New York Life Insurance Company. In this role, Brian helps families across the country learn how to build better futures, rooted in a protection-first financial strategy, for themselves and those they love. Prior to this role, Brian led the company's Advanced Planning Group, a team of nearly 30 professionals who work with New York Life agents to meet the wealth strategy and business planning needs of clients across the country. Over the last 10 years, Brian has been a keynote speaker for companywide meetings, and has been featured in Forbes, USA Today and the Chicago Tribune, among other print and broadcast outlets, where he has shared insights on a variety of financial topics. Brian began his nearly 30-year career as a New York Life financial specialist. Brian earned his Chartered Life Underwriter® and Chartered Financial Consultant® designations from The American College and his Bachelor of Science degree from John Jay College.
