Hawken is the Business Development Manager for Kiplinger.com, focused on building new business relationships and partnership management. Prior to joining Kiplinger in 2015, he spent more than 10 years as Chief Operating Officer for ESL Music and its marquee band, Thievery Corporation. In addition to managing the daily operations of the record label, he helped create a digital music distribution platform and a commercial music licensing operation. Prior to the music business, he spent several years in technology consulting and with multiple dot-com efforts. Hawken is a graduate of Syracuse University.
