Thanks to Amazon’s current two-day sale event, Prime Big Deal Days, Prime members have been able to score discounts on thousands of products, as well as take advantage of deals on digital streaming and entertainment services. The two-day event started Tuesday, October 8, and is well underway, offering up low prices for Prime members on everything from electronics to apparel to cosmetics. But the event will soon come to a close, ending Wednesday, October 9 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time.
In order to take advantage of the discounts offered during Amazon Prime Day, you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime member. Membership for Amazon Prime costs $14.99 a month or $139 a year. However, if you haven't been a member in the previous 12 months, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial, shop the sale and then cancel your trial.

Looking for a new pair of over-ear headphones? This Prime Day, you can score a pair of Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones for just $298. That's a 25% discount. Tom's Guide rates them as the overall best headphones of 2024, thanks to their "balanced and smooth sound" and "improved noise-cancellation." These headphones also have a long battery life, lasting 30 hours between charges.
2. Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) Wireless Ear Buds: $168.99 at Amazon (was $249)
Looking for a new pair of wireless headphones? Apple AirPods Pro 2 are now on sale for a record-low price of $168.99, down from their original price of $249. 4. ASICS GEL-KAYANO 30 Running Shoes: $99.70 at Amazon (was $160)
